Sir: Your leader "On your bikes, brothers" (27 August) ignores the fantastic TVR range, the, well, different Morgan range and many other small manufacturers. All are building innovative and entertaining cars. Just because the big car manufacturers are all foreign-owned it doesn't mean that it is impossible to buy British and buy well.
