Sir: I was appalled to read the article about the novel from France featuring the half-naked woman Christ (report, 1 October). I thought the French had more morality and I never thought they would have done such a shameful thing. Being a Catholic I strongly protest. I'm 11 years old and think even the most hard-hearted youth would complain at such a novel.
