Sir: I was delighted to see the photograph of the locomotive on its way to Birmingham ("Prescott calls in failing rail firms for a dressing down", 5 November). Odd, though, that it was on a lorry, presumably occupying valuable space on the roadway. Wouldn't Railtrack let it travel the way it was meant to?
