Sir: Have we not got the best of all worlds? Those that want to join have done so. They have a joint currency and are happy with it. The UK has not joined. Most people here are happy with this. The City trades in the euro as it does with all other currencies - like the dollar - and makes a profit. Why don't we just leave well alone?
