Sir: The law of wills, trusts and executries in Scotland is very different to the law in England and Wales ("Where there's a will there's a way to avoid family feuds", 27 March).

It is important that people consider making a will and taking legal advice on the subject. It is vital that they are advised on the right law in doing so.

Incorrect legal information acts as misinformation. That can cause a legacy of misery.
