Sir: Please could an expert on skin cancers provide statistics to show a significant correlation between left-arm cancers in of drivers in continental Europe, and right arm-ones in Britain and, say, Cyprus ("Relax - it's fine to worship the sun", 9 July)? Whenever the weather is extremely hot and sunny, the tendency of drivers to hang an arm out of an open window is so universal that there should be some measurable difference if the sun is so dangerous.
