Sir: Peter Koppenheim is claiming compensation for family property in Poland which he says was lost as part of a Polish ethnic cleansing policy after the Second World War (report, 4 August). My family's estate in Palestine was ethnically cleansed in 1948 and is now occupied by Israelis. Whom should I sue?
