Sir: S Antczak (letter, 9 November) is perfectly justified in drawing attention to the absurd withdrawal of bottles of paracetamol. Aspirin has suffered a similar fate, repackaged in "easy to open" small packs. At the same time, pharmacies have taken the opportunity to increase the price by 300 per cent. Has it escaped attention that the serious over- user has only to visit a series of chemists?
