Sir: David Mason (letter, 28 April) is wrong to suggest that opponents of Nato aggression are short of parties to vote for. In Scotland we have the SNP, whose leader described the illegal and immoral bombing as "an act of unpardonable folly".
For telling the truth, Alex Salmond was told by the British Foreign Secretary that he would be the toast of Belgrade. Sadly, if Robin Cook has his way, Serbian civilians will be the toast of Belgrade.
Scotland must have an independent say in the future of Europe, something more sophisticated and civilised than the "let's bomb Johnny Foreigner" mentality of Westminster.
