Our noble Lords

Sir: Having been reduced through illness to watching TV last Friday afternoon, I have come to the conclusion that, elected or not, the Lords should be governing the country. Unlike our elected politicians, the Lords interviewed were, to a man or woman, courteous, humble, altruistic and honest. Our present Cabinet Ministers would do well to take a leaf out of their books.
