Sir: The Mother of Parliaments having produced two offspring, can we please be told how those who are both MPs and MSPs will manage to combine both? When the Labour whips want a Westminster MP to vote in a way that conflicts with their orders from their Scottish Parliament counterparts, how will this be resolved? Then there is the question of division of time. The Scottish Parliament may well be going to adopt more sensible working hours than Westminster, but they still cannot be in two places at once.
