Sir: Perhaps an incentive can be introduced to persuade people to allow their organs to be donated on death. Would it not be fair to say to any person wishing to exempt themselves from donation that if they do so they will be ineligible for a transplant should they need one in the future. Or at the very least they should go to the end of the queue.
