I was surprised and delighted to see Martin Stone feature as Iain Sinclair's hero (Heroes & Villains, 18 February). Stone is a fascinating individual, and a unique guitarist. Any readers who were captivated by the piece should lobby Channel 4 to repeat the programme The Cardinal and the Corpse or a Funny Night Out by Iain Sinclair and Christopher Petit. This wonderful 40-minute film includes interviews with Stone, Drif Field and Robin Cook, among others, in tandem with various other activities, such as Drif trying to track down a manuscript and Alan Moore in pursuit of The Magus. The music that links all these items is by Martin Stone and Almost Presley. Write to Channel 4 today.
