On page 11, Anthony Quinn blarts with righteous indignation at mockery of Arabs in The Mummy. Turn the page and there's Michael Glover not merely repeating but joining in with Bob Hoskins' cloth-eared mockery of the "Brummie" accent as "ugly ... whingeing".

Contradictory attitudes to prejudice within your august pages? Of course not! Arabs are human beings, with rights. Those of us, white black or brown, who live in Birmingham are - well, just Brummies.
