Letters: Ulster's peril
Sir: Anthony Gentles (letter, 5 July), complains of "British" money spent on Ulster. He would seem to have a rather narrow interpretation of the word "British". I know that the onlooker is supposed to see more of the game, but would have though Chevilly-Larue a little far for a clear view.
At least one million of the population of Northern Ireland are proud to be British. Their wish to remain so, demonstrated in many elections, has sustained them during a 25-year onslaught.
Mr Gentles' letter is headed "Unionist traitors". Just what act of treachery have they committed?
