SHOULD your idea of the perfect mixture consist of 'a unique evening of things you never knew were possible for the voice and guitar', followed by Compline, the place to be is Walsingham next Tuesday. The second summer music festival in and around the Anglican and Roman Catholic shrines opens tonight with a recital by Phyllis Bryn-Julson. During its nine days it alternates concerts with musically high-powered services: liturgical peaks include a Memorial Pilgrim Mass with music by Herbert Howells, and a special commission from Paul Johnson for the Festival Service. Box office: 0328 820399.
