BOLTON is the scene of a late addition to this autumn's Euro-binges, with a European Organ Festival from 10 to 17 October featuring musicians from each of the 12 EC countries. It is the instrument in the town's Albert Hall that explains the setting - 'one of the finest in the UK', says artistic director David Titterington, himself an international soloist and professor of organ at the Royal Academy of Music. Colleagues appearing include Gillian Weir, Susan Landale, Hans Fagius and David Sanger. Community events are planned too, and the Town Hall is expecting a boost in tourism.
