Born Stranger unveil video for 'Be Someone' - premiere

Born Stranger's new video for 'Be Someone' is described by the artists as "a wake up call; a realisation, a message to say 'you're better than this, get out there and do it'".
Watch our premiere for the video below:
A male dancer performs a contemporary urban dance piece which transitions into ballet - with obvious nods to Kes and Billy Elliot.
"I took a slightly different twist on the meaning 'Be Someone'," director Alex Rawson says, "The video is for anybody who has been suppressed or stereotyped."
Born Stranger are David Maddox Jones (vocals) and music/co-production from Raife Hacking and Yoad Nevo.
Featured in our Now Hear This column earlier in the year, they told us: "Songwriting and making music has always been about collaboration for Born Stranger. The idea of sitting in a room with another writer turning a conversation into a song; the ordinary into something visceral and life-affirming. Songwriting is the best form of escapism."
