Rapper Cardi B, known for her break-out hit “Bodak Yellow”, rejected a plea deal for a strip club brawl the mom, wife and Grammy winner was involved in during summer of 2018.

During an incident in August of 2018, Cardi B, whose legal name is Belcalis Almanzar, allegedly threw bottles, a hookah pipe, and chairs at club bartenders.

Nine members of the rappers’ entourage were also reportedly involved.

The altercation occurred at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York. Cardi B was previously a stripper, and has caught heat for comments that she used to drug and rob men.

The fight allegedly started due to allegations that one of the women working at the club was cheating with Cardi’s husband Offset, a member of the rap group Migos.

Cheating rumours have affected the rap ‘it couple’ in the past.

Cardi B was issued a desk appearance ticket relating to the quarrel.

She is facing charges of reckless endangerment and assault in the third degree.

Both charges are misdemeanour crimes.

Cardi had previously signed renewals of protection orders to assure she would not contact those allegedly injured in the bar fight.

Her lawyer had previously commented “We’re aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm at the club that night. We expect the matter is going to be resolved expeditiously.”
