Carlos Santana will begin a month-long European tour leg on September 29, according to an April 26 announcement, continuing his Universal Tone tour that begins in North America. The 17-date run will include a show at the London O2 and visits to Zurich, Paris, Prague, Hamburg and Milan.
The legendary Mexican singer and rock guitarist will reportedly perform songs from a new studio album currently in the works in addition to hits from his 40-year career.

Famous for his work with band Santana since the 1960s, as well as for his solo work and collaborations, Carlos Santana has won 10 Grammy Awards and 3 Latin Grammys and was named among Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. Santana's most recent release was the 2010 reissue of Supernatural in celebration of the nine-time GRAMMY-winning album's 10th anniversary.
