Cee Lo Green announced on September 22 that his upcoming album The Lady Killer will be released on November 9 in the US, nearly a month before it was originally expected out. An announcement on the soul singer's website cites "massive popular demand" as the reason for the expedited release.

The Lady Killer will include Green's single "Fuck You," a Motown-inspired track co-written by Bruno Mars's production trio The Smeezingtons that is presumably motivating the early album release. That single's karaoke-prompter video and official clip have received more 10 million combined views since the song hit YouTube on August 19.

"Fuck You" went on sale to US customers at www.ceelogreen.com on August 25, an official video followed in early September, and the single's UK release is slated for October 4. An alternate version of the track, entitled "Forget You," is planned for wider release and radio in the fall.

A previous single off the album, "Georgia," is available as a free download on the artist's website.

The Lady Killer
is due out November 9 in the US; a new international release date has not been announced. It will be Cee Lo Green's third solo album and the first since he formed Gnarls Barkley with producer Danger Mouse and released the hit single "Crazy."
