On March 14, rock band Foo Fighters, fronted by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, added a handful of US gigs to its forthcoming tour in support of the LP Wasting Light. The band will tour the US with Motörhead in May before setting off for the UK and Europe this summer.

On Tuesday, March 16, a full-length documentary about the band titled Foo Fighters: Back and Forth, directed by James Moll, will premiere at Austin's South by Southwest Festival. Click on the link below to view a trailer of the film.

Wasting Light is the band's seventh full-length LP and is produced by Nirvana producer Butch Vig. The album is set to drop on April 11 in the UK and April 12 in the US. The single "Rope" released on March 1 and reached number one in the US.

Foo Fighters will follow up the release of Wasting Light with a limited-edition covers album dubbed Medium Rare on Record Store Day, April 16. More than 1,000 stores on four continents are set to mark Record Store Day, an annual celebration of independent record stores, through events and special promotions.
