Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato announce international summer tour

Recording artists and teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers are set to make a multi-continent summer concert tour with guest Demi Lovato, according to an April 27 announcement. Tickets go on sale May 15 for the trek, which starts July 27 in Dallas, Texas, and will continue through North America, Latin America, and Europe throughout the summer and fall.

More than three dozen US tour dates have so far been revealed, with further dates to be announced in 15 countries throughout Europe and the Americas.

The brothers will tour in support of the sequel to their film Camp Rock, which has reached more than 137 million viewers. That movie's soundtrack has sold 2.5 million copies worldwide and spent ten weeks in the top ten on the US Billboard 200 chart. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, starring Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato, will premiere September 3 on the Disney Channel; its soundtrack will be released July 27.

The Jonas Brothers have had three US #1 albums. Their "Jonas Brothers World Tour" was among the top-grossing concert tours in 2009, with more than 1.5 million attendees and sold-out shows on three continents. Demi Lovato's second solo album, Here We Go Again, debuted at #1 no the US Bllboard chart.
