Teen pop idol Justin Bieber hit the red carpet on Wednesday, February 2, for the New York premiere of his 3D biopic, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. On February 1, he premiered the film in Toronto at the Scotia Bank Theatre.

Opening in theaters February 11 in North America and February 18 in the UK, the film chronicles his rise to stardom, from his beginnings in Ontario to his current status as worldwide teen heartthrob. It also features a new Bieber song, "Born To Be Somebody," in the closing credits.

The film is directed by Jon Chu ( Step Up 2 and Step Up 3D) and features Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, Wanya Morris, Nathan Morris, and the boy wonder himself.

"Fans will be really excited to see that I'm just a regular 16-year-old just having fun, living my dream," Bieber told MTV News at the New York premiere. "And I think it's possible for anyone to live theirs."

"After some 100 minutes of heart-racing, in-your-face 3D footage, even the most casual of teen fans and the stodgiest of parents will exit the movie theater a complete Justin Bieber convert," reviews Billboard magazine. MTV News writes of the movie's premiere: "the movie - part concert film, part documentary - didn't disappoint, with fans saying that it was 'amazing,' 'awesome' and that 'he's so hot.'"

On Valentine's Day, February 14, he will release a seven-track album of remixes of some of his classic songs done with other artists, and the LP will include "Born To Be Somebody." Some of the artists featured on the remix album include country band Rascal Flatts, Chris Brown, and fellow Canadians Drake and Miley Cyrus.

His first full studio LP, My World 2.0, was released on March 23, 2010, and reached No. 1 in seven countries.
