US indie duo Beach House, appearing on a number of bloggers' best-of 2010 lists, maintains its hold as most-blogged act according to The Hype Machine on December 22. Rapper Kanye West and rockers The National maintain second and third places, while Los Angeles band Local Natives re-enters the top ten.

Brooklyn band The National's 2010 album High Violet is also earning high marks in blogger year-end roundups. In addition, bloggers are talking about a December 20th appearance on BBC6 radio by brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National and Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry. There, the trio shared their Christmas collaborations with indie artist Sufjan Stevens - two tracks that appear on Steven's annual Christmas album that he sends out to his friends.

Also making the rounds in 2010 lists is indie band Local Natives, who released their debut album Gorilla Manor in February. "I'm absolutely in love with their sound," writes music blogger This Bonus Track (thisbonustrack.com), "with their orchestration and with the way that each one of their songs has a perfect moment to be played."
