Montreal funk duo Chromeo is the most popular act on The Hype Machine on August 13, followed by Los Angeles rock band No Age and Montreal indie group Arcade Fire. Meanwhile, Kanye West and Gold Panda have recently re-entered the top ten.

Rapper Kanye West was last in the blogs in late May following the leak of "Power," the first single from his forthcoming not-yet-titled album. Bloggers are now sharing West's track "See Me Now," featuring Beyoncé and Charlie Wilson, which West debuted during an appearance on a US radio show and later posted on his blog. The track is getting mixed reviews in the blogosphere, with many agreeing it is a return to West's College Dropout-era sound, and nearly all highly anticipating the album release on November 16. On August 13 West is set to share another track, this one a remix of "Power" featuring Jay-Z.

Gold Panda is a UK-native producer and remixer named Derwin who has released several EPs and is reportedly planning a debut full-length album by year's end. Ghostly International recently released his EP You, tracks from which are currently making their way around the blogosphere. Released even more recently is a remix of "You" by Seams that RCRD LBL ( says "sounds like a catamaran ride with Massive Attack."
