Dance-punk act LCD Soundsystem continues to be the most blogged musical act of the moment on The Hype Machine. In second and third place on April 21 are Toronto electronic duo Crystal Castles and Brooklyn indie band The National, while Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House and Canadian electronic artist Caribou are also in the top ten.

Beach House is in the blogs following the limited release of a four-song 12", called Zebra, in support of Record Store Day on April 17. Pop Tarts Suck Toasted (poptartssucktoasted.com) writes, "Of all the many Sub Pop releases this Record Store Day the Beach House "Zebra" 12? was most certainly the most coveted. ... The real joy of the limited edition release are the two new tracks, "The Arrangement" and "Baby".... In time these are likely to become fan favorites..."

Caribou, the moniker for Daniel Victor Snaith, released his album Swim on April 20. I Guess I'm Floating (iguessimfloating.blogspot.com) calls Swim "one of the year"s best albums" and "a little piece of amazing," while The Music Ninja (www.themusicninja.com) says of the opening track, "Odessa," "Rarely is a track so catchy, so alive, so moving, that it could earn the title of Perfection."
