US duo the White Stripes takes the top spot as the most blogged act in the music blogosphere according to The Hype Machine. Rock band The Strokes drops to second place while British composer and critic darling James Blake climbs into third. Also on February 11, Sweden's Lykke Li returns to the top ten, thanks to a remix of one of her hits.

British electronic artist James Blake is a hot topic in the blogs after the release of his much-hyped self-titled debut album. He also sat down at the piano and performed an acoustic cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You" for BBC Radio 1 that bloggers are reviewing. The new track "makes the argument for genuine old-school musicianship underneath the inventive production," writes blogger Cover Me (www.covermesongs.com). "The Joni Mitchell cover also showcases his delicate falsetto, too often buried beneath layers of hazy atmospherics."

Pop singer Lykke Li returns to the top ten after Tyler The Creator, frontman for up-and-coming hip hop collective Odd Future, released a reworking of her track "I Follow Rivers." The "so-weird-it-works remix...really adds a spacey feel to the track," writes blogger All Things Go Music (allthingsgomusic.com).
