Adele stops gig to blast audience member filming Verona concert

'Could you take you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD'

When you consider tickets to Adele’s London concerts were being sold for upwards of £24,000, you would think fans inside the venue would be making the most of every single moment with the singer.

As with at all concerts, many onlookers took the opportunity to film Adele performing in Verona, something that upset the multimillionaire.

“I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I'm really here in real life,” she told one audience member.

“Could you take you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show and I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there are lot’s of people who couldn’t come in.”

Ironically, the event was videoed by another audience member. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old recently released her music video for the song “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” from the album 25.

It has also been reported that the singer is set to sign a £90m record deal with Sony Music, the biggest ever deal for a British musician and the biggest ever for a female artist worldwide.

These reports, published in The Sun, are yet to be confirmed, but if true would beat the £80m paid by BMI for Robbie Williams in 2002 and Arista’s £70m deal with Whitney Houston in 2001.
