Adele tour tickets: Singer announces 56 dates for US

Inevitably, given the global success of her new album 25 and the hysteria that surrounded ticket-buying for her UK tour, Adele is heading to the States on a whopping 56-date tour.

New York and Los Angeles each get six shows right off the bat, with the potential for more if they sell out (and they will) quickly.

Other US cities Adele will visit for multiple dates once her European leg finishes include Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Austin, Nashville and Chicago.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 17 December at 10am EST, and be available here through her website.
