Adele will not tour in 2015
Singer's management confirm rumours about world tour are false
Adele fans hoping to see the Grammy-award winner perform live again will have to wait at least another two years.
The “Someone Like You” singer’s management have confirmed Adele will not tour next year, despite reports yesterday suggesting that she would.
A message posted on the World Music Awards’ official Twitter account yesterday claimed the singer was planning to tour again to support her new album.
“#adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album ‘25”, the tweet read.
But Martin Millis, chairman of Beggars Group that owns Adele’s label XL Recording, confirmed to Billboard that there was “no truth” in the allegations.
Adele teased plans about her new album on Twitter earlier this year, but has not revealed anything more about her forthcoming record.
In May she dropped her biggest hint yet that her album will be called 25, tweeting: “Bye bye 25…See you again later in the year x.”
The singer’s new record follows her multi-platinum albums 19 and 21.
Her album 21 earned the singer international critical acclaim and saw her win six Grammy Awards.
