Annie Lennox marries for third time

Former Eurythmics star Annie Lennox has married for the third time.

The "Sweet Dreams" singer tied the knot with Dr Mitch Besser in London in what her spokeswoman described as "a private ceremony with friends and family present". It was reported that the ceremony took place on a boat on the River Thames with guests including Oscar winner Colin Firth and comic Ruby Wax.

The Aberdeen-born star's first marriage to German Hare Krishna devotee Radha Ramen was shortlived and she married Israeli film and record producer Uri Frutmann. They had two daughters before they divorced in 2000.
