Anteros have revealed their brand new single "Bonnie" which you can check out first via The Independent.

The song was produced by Mercury Prize-nominated producer Charlie Andrew [Alt-J, Madness, Marika Hackman] and is a crowd favourite at their live shows.

Its release follows what has so-far been a brilliant year for the band, with a showcase at The Great Escape festival, slots at Reading + Leeds and Glastonbury, tours with Two Door Cinema Club and Sundara Karma... and a sold-out headline show in London.

Listen to 'Bonnie' below:

Q&A with Anteros

What are you guys listening to at the moment?

The Killers - Wonderful Wonderful

Circa Waves - Different Creatures

Alvvays - Antisocialites

Wolf Alice - Visions of a Life

Liam Gallagher - As You Were

St. Vincent - MASSEDUCTION

What are your plans for the rest of the year?

We’re releasing our double AA side, with ‘Bonnie’ and another new track ‘Love’ next month. We’ve got the last dates of the Hopscotch Tour around the UK, as well as doing pre-production for our debut album, which we will be recording in the new year.

Can you tell us a few highlights of 2017?

2017 has flown by. We’ve enjoyed touring since start of the year with Blaenavon, Circa Waves and Two Door Cinema Club. We came straight off tour into the recording studio to work on the ‘Drunk’ EP with Nick Hodgson, then got to tour it on our first ever headline tour around England.

We played our first main stage at the last Secret Garden Party, and played other great festivals like Reading, TRNSMT, Community...

We went back to the studio after festival season to work on ‘Bonnie’ and ‘Love’ with Charlie Andrew, which we can’t wait for people to hear.

What was the first gig you ever played and what’s been the best so far?

The first gig we played was at The Monarch in Camden. It was an empty room; just us, our managers and a drunk man who invaded the stage during our set to tell dirty jokes about the queen.

One of the best so far was Community festival in London this summer. It was a home gig for us, but we didn’t expect the crowd that we got. There were people moshing, rowing, sitting on each other’s shoulders. They were singing our songs back to us. It was so overwhelming, I don’t think we will ever forget it.

Anteros play Camden Assembly in London on 31 October, tickets here
