Ariana Grande brings out NSYNC during Coachella performance

Ariana Grande brought out ‘NSYNC for her first of two headline performances at Coachella festival in Indio, California.

In a set that appeared to be plagued with mic issues, the 25-year-old pop star hosted the boyband and other guests including Diddy and Nicki Minaj.

The show opened with a performance of “God Is a Woman” before going into “Bad Idea,” the single from her latest album thank u, next.

This was followed by a rendition of Grande’s hit “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” which samples the *NSYNC hit “It Makes Me Ill” from their 2000 album, No Strings Attached.

“I’ve been waiting all my motherf—— life to say this: *NSYNC,” Grande said before she and the group performed the 1997 classic, “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”

Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick all joined Grande on stage, with the notable absence of Justin Timberlake.

“Coachella, this has been a dream of ours, thank you Ariana!” the band said on stage.

In the days building up to her performance, Grande teased the show by sharing throwback footage of her at an *NSYNC concert.
