Rapper A$AP Ferg has apparently been removed from hip-hop collective the A$AP Mob, according to founding member A$AP Illz.

In a thread of posts shared to Illz’s Instagram story, the 31-year-old accused Ferg of stealing ideas and said his affilation with the Mob had ended, XXL Mag reports.

The A$AP Mob was founded in 2008 by Illz, Bari, and the late A$AP Yams, with A$AP Rocky and Ferg joining a year later.

“Ferg ain’t ASAP NO MORE sorry guys,” Illz reportedly said in his Instagram post. “That n**** burnt out , songs dumb trash mr anthem cant get right.”

Illz then claimed that Ferg, who recently dropped a new song “Move Ya Hips” featuring Nicki Minaj and Madeintyo, had stolen ideas from him.

“N***s be your mans to try to pick your brain & steal not to be loyal and real,” he wrote.

He also shared a screenshot showing text messages purporting to be between himself and Ferg, which appeared to have been sent earlier this year and more recently, showing an apparent breakdown in the pair’s relationship.

Illz’s Instagram is currently set to private.

The Independent has contacted A$AP Mob’s representative for comment.
