A hubcap belonging to the car in which The Notorious BIG was killed is set to go on sale for $150,000.

The seminal rapper, real name Christopher Wallace, was murdered in a drive-by shooting on 9 March, 1997.

Now, memorabilia company Moments in Time are brokering the sale of one of the four hubcaps from the rental car in which Biggie was shot dead.

The item is being sold under the title: “A hubcap from Biggie’s death car”.

According to a report in TMZ, the item was given to the seller by a family friend who owned the rental company which leased Biggie the SUV.

The car part still bears remnants of a sticker reading “THINK B.I.G. MARCH 25 1997” and promoting his 1997 album Life After Death.

The hubcap and sticker were seen in crime scene photographs from the rapper’s murder.

Biggie’s murder remains unsolved. The artist was recently the focus of a Netflix documentary, entitled Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell.

The documentary, which featured candid footage of Biggie and interviews with some of his closest friends, received mixed reviews from critics.
