Black Panther soundtrack: Kendrick Lamar shares official tracklist ft. SZA, The Weeknd, Jorja Smith, Anderson .Paak and James Blake
The soundtrack lineup looks as epic as the film
Kendrick Lamar has just announced the track list for the soundtrack accompanying the new Marvel Comics Black Panther film.
The rapper made the announcement on Twitter writing, "Black Panther The Album 2/9."
Alongside his words, he posted the album cover featuring black panther claws and the back of the record which listed the 14 tracks that would be featured on it.
Fans can get excited because Lamar visibly dominates the album with five brand new tracks.
In addition to Lamar, SZA, James Blake, The Weeknd, Khalid, Anderson .Paak, Vince Staples and Jorja Smith all have songs on the record.
During the Grammys, a preview for Black Panther aired featuring its anthem by Lamar and SZA called "All The Stars."
Lamar's involvement in the soundtrack isn't a surprise - he was announced as its executive producer alongside Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE).
It was previously announced that the record would feature mainly TDE artists.
This collection of songs will likely be a big win for Lamar, who took home four Grammys last week, including Best Rap Album.
The Black Panther soundtrack is due February 9, and the movie starring Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o comes out one week later on February 16.
