Breaking Bad: Walter Jr actor RJ Mitte stars in Nothing But Thieves music video

He made his name playing the son of Bryan Cranston's Walter White in Breaking Bad, but now RJ Mitte has taken the lead role in a music video from English alt-rockers Nothing But Thieves.

Premiered by The A.V Club, the heartfelt video for new song "If I Get High" follows Mitte's troubled son and a fractured relationship with his father.

In some respect, it parallels how Mitte's character Walt Jr. ends up in the hit series that ran for five seasons from 2008.

Mitte has previously appeared in music videos for Hollywood Undead song "Dead Bite" and Steel Panther's "Party Like Tomorrow is the End of the World."

The actor is due to present Channel 4's paralympic coverage this September.

Talking of the athletes competing in Rio, Mitte recently told the Evening Standard: “These men and women are athletes, they are warriors, they are people who are not confined by what they have been given.

“It’s amazing to see where, and how far, the human body can really go.”
