Calvin Harris has been announced as the final live performance at the Brit Awards this year, in a special show that will feature appearances by his collaborators Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, and Rag’n’Bone Man.

The 35-year-old producer was announced via the Brits‘ official channels. It is likely they will perform tracks including “Promises” with Smith, his hit single “One Kiss” with Dua Lip, and new track “Giant” with Rag’n’Bone Man.

Harris is nominated with Dua for British Video and British Single of the Year at this year’s ceremony.

Smith is up for British Male Solo Artist against Craig David, George Ezra, Aphex Twin and Giggs, while Dua is one of the most nominated artists of the year, with two nods for British Single (”One Kiss” and “IDGAF”), two for British video (”One Kiss”, “IDGAF”

Other performances on the night will include Little Mix, George Ezra, Jorja Smith and The 1975. See the nominations in full here.

This year’s set of nominations is largely female-led, with more women acts than men up for awards in the Best Single, Video, Breakthrough and Album categories.

There also appears to be more of an attempt to acknowledge genres other than rock and pop, reflected in nods for rapper Giggs, R&B singers Jorja Smith and Ella Mai, electronic artist Aphex Twin and jazz musician Kamasi Washington.

The 39th annual Brit Awards take place on 20 February 2019 at the O2 Arena in London.
