Bullet for My Valentine's Matt Tuck performs record-breaking gig on air, sea and land

Bullet for My Valentine's lead singer Matt Tuck has got himself in the history books by becoming the first person to perform a gig on air, sea and land.

The gig was part of Jägermeister's Ice Cold Gig series which has previously seen metal band The Defiled perform a gig on an iceberg.

Taking place in Lyngsfjord region of Norway, near Tromsø, Tuck embarked on the adrenaline-fuelled gig 192 miles north of the Arctic Circle.

The first stage of the world-first attempt saw the heavy metal band's frontman play track "The Last Flight" while descending 15,000 feet in freefall.

Following this was a performance of "You Want a Battle? (Here's a War)", the title track of the band's latest record. Tuck performed the song while in a speed boat having to contend with -20-degree temperatures.

The climax of the record attempt saw Siberian huskies take Tuck up the Gukkesgaissa Mountains while he played the band's renowned "Bittersweet Memories," thus completing the venture.

Directly after the performance, Tuck said: "I've played some incredible gigs around the world, but that was right up there - literally."

Bullet for My Valentine's latest album reached number three in the UK charts.
