Busted: Kanye West's sixth solo album sounds like 'it came from the year 3000'

Despite having no official release date yet, the hype surrounding Kanye West’s forthcoming sixth solo album just got a little louder.
Having previewed a track, modestly titled “I am a God”, at last week’s Met Gala, one of West’s collaborators, Travi$ Scott, has now been mouthing off about how ahead of its time the 35-year-old’s new record is.
“That shit is like some next-level 3000,” Scott told MTV News. “We’re already in the year 3000 with that shit.”
Of course, thanks to cheeky defunct pop band Busted, and their 2003 hit “Year 3000”, we already know what to expect from music that year. And it’s not pretty.
“I took a trip to the year 3000/ This song had gone multi-platinum/ Everybody bought our seventh album/ It had outsold Michael Jackson,” they predicted.
Yeezy must be thrilled.
