Calvin Harris has emerged unscathed from a car crash in Los Angeles.

The Scottish DJ is believed to have been in a vehicle with his model girlfriend Aarika Wolf when they collided with another car.

Harris is said to have been unhurt in the crash – which took place in a residential Beverley Hills street on Sunday.

According to entertainment site TMZ, the cars spun and the airbags went off before police were called to the scene of the incident.

In a since deleted tweet, the 34-year-old musician said: "I promised myself I'd never do anything worthy of appearing in TMZ ever again but sadly this was out of my control thankfully everyone is ok”.

The Range Rover carrying the 34-year-old musician, who is the highest earning DJ in the world, reportedly collided with a Honda saloon carrying two women.

In 2016, Harris was involved in a serious crash in LA when his 4x4 collided with another vehicle driven by a 16-year-old girl.

He was taken to hospital but walked away with only a few minor injuries – saying he felt “lucky and grateful” at the time.

The musician, whose real name is Adam Richard Wiles, was however forced to cancel a number of gigs and appearances in the wake of the accident.

The Independent has contacted a representative of Harris for comment.
