Cardi B has called out British children’s cartoon Peppa Pig for causing her daughter’s love of stomping in puddles.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper voiced her frustration with the hugely popular kid’s cartoon on Twitter, jokingly threatening the programme for encouraging her two-year-old daughter Kulture to jump in puddles.

“My baby has been watching peppa pig and now Everytime she sees a wetpuddle she wants to stomp on top of it,” wrote the rapper.

“That s*** gets me so tight! F***in up her uggs… Deum you peppa pig… COUNT YOUR F***ING DAYS!”

The first episode of Peppa Pig’s debut season – titled “Muddy Puddles” – introduces the trope that fast becomes a running gag throughout the series, which often sees characters jumping in puddles and making a mess.

Earlier this month it was announced that the 28-year-old’s latest single “WAP”, with rapper Megan Thee Stallion, topped the UK’s most-Googled lyrics of 2020 run-down.

The hit single – which caused a stir for its sexually explicit lyrics – spent a total of four weeks at No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its release in August this year.
