Chance the Rapper: 'Making a song with R. Kelly was a mistake'

Chance the Rapper fans have been taking to Twitter to express their confusion over the artist’s mysterious album delay.

The Big Day was scheduled for release at midnight on Friday 26 July, but it is nowhere to be seen or heard.

It is the rapper’s first new release since 2016’s Coloring Book, and fans have joked that they’re going to be “triggered” if it doesn’t arrive soon.

Some fans have been waiting up for six hours to hear the new album.

Other have been speculating that Kanye West’s involvement in the album could have led to its delay, given his reputation as a perfectionist.

Chance the Rapper has been teasing the release of his new material on Twitter for weeks, writing “the day is on its way” and announcing a Spotify launch party which took place on Thursday night.
