Coachella 2014: Set times posted, Julian Casablancas and Pixies added to line-up
Music fans will have to decide between Skrillex and Muse among other clashes
The Strokes’ frontman Julian Casablancas and rock group Pixies have been added to the line-up for Coachella, with the Californian music festival also releasing its set times.
The first of two weekends in the desert city of Indio gets underway this Friday and runs until Sunday, with everything set to repeat itself from 18-20 April.
Friday will see fans decide between OutKast and Anti-Flag, Ellie Goulding and Duke Dumont, AFI and Bastille, while Saturday’s punters will choose between Lorde and Fatboy Slim, Muse and Skrillex.
On Sunday there will be a clash between Disclosure, Arcade Fire and Motorhead.
Other acts set to perform include Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Rudimental, Queens of the Stone Age, Haim, Bonobo, MGMT, Pet Shop Boys, Chvrches and John Newman.

Show all 3OutKast’s reunion performance was announced in January, with their appearance set to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, released in 1994.
Organisers shared the news on Twitter with a poster of the line-up and the caption “Share it like a polaroid picture!” in a nod to OutKast’s hit “Hey Ya”.
Pixies, meanwhile, are set to release a new record, Indie Cindy, twenty-three years after their last studio album.
Last year’s Coachella was headlined by Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
