Coldplay performed at the Hollywood Rose Bowl on Sunday evening (21 August) and invited British presenter James Corden on stage to pay tribute to Prince.
The Late Late Show host duetted on a version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" - the song made famous by Sinead O'Connor in 1990 - with frontman Chris Martin.
Upon taking to the stage, the usually confident host expressed his nerves about performing at the stadium which has a capacity of over 95,000 people.
"I'll be honest, I didn't know how big it was when I said, 'yes'," he joked.
Following the performance, Martin presented Corden with a cake in celebration of his 38th birthday yesterday (22 August).
