Demi Lovato engaged: Hailey Bieber and Adam Lamber lead congratulations for singer

Pop star shared the news with her 88.4 million Instagram followers on Thursday morning

Celebrities have rushed to congratulate singer Demi Lovato on her engagement to Max Ehrich.

Hailey Bieber, Jessie J and Adam Lambert are among the many celebrities who have congratulated the singer since Lovato announced the news on Thursday morning (23 July) via Instagram.

Bieber (formerly Baldwin) expressed her excitement for the couple with a series of love heart and crying emojis, while Lambert wrote: “Wow congrats!!!!!!!!!!”

Singer Jessie J added, “SO HAPPY FOR YOUUUU” and Avril Lavigne wrote: “Yay!!!! Congratulations!!! So amazing. So happy for you”.

Meghan Trainor, Kim Petras, Becky G and Noah Cyrus have also shared their best wishes on the social media post.

Outside the music world, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and Victoria Secret model Sara Sampaio also shared their congratulations.

Lovato responded to the flood of comments, “To all of my friends and fans commenting – I F***ING LOVE YOU – THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY HAPPINESS”

The 27-year-old pop star shared the news with her 88.4 million Instagram followers on Thursday morning with a series of photos from the proposal, which took place on a beach in Malibu, California.

In the accompanying caption, the “Cool for the Summer” singer wrote, “I knew I loved you the moment I met you.

“It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”

Since it was shared, the engagement announcement post has received over 2.25 million likes.

Lovato and Ehrich were first romantically linked in March this year, and it was later confirmed they were socially distancing together.
