Field Day 2016 has confirmed its second wave of artists joining the official line-up, with Sleaford Mods, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and experimental band Yeasayer all featuring on the bill.

The East London-based festival, now in its tenth year, is set to be held in Victoria Park on the weekend of 11 and 12 June.

English post-punk duo Sleaford Mods will perform on the Saturday joining the already confirmed artists Skepta, Four Tet and Mura Masa - who were recently named a runner-up in the BBC's Sound of 2016 poll.

Mura Masa's fellow runners-up Blossoms, San Franciscan neo-psychedelia band The Brian Jonestown Massacre and genre-bending solo musician Cass McCombs will all appear on the Sunday alongside headliner PJ Harvey - who this week previewed a single from her as-of-yet untitled new album - Beach House and John Grant.

US songwriter, singer and guitarist Thurston Moore will also return with his band after a year's hiatus, last playing the festival in 2014.

As well as the music, Field Day 2016 will also host the usual array of food stalls, eating contests and village team games.

Early bird tickets for the festival are still available online; prices range from £49.50 for the Saturday, £41.50 for the Sunday to £81 for the entire weekend. VIP early bird options are also available with a Saturday ticket costing you £69.50, £59.50 for the Sunday and £119 for the weekend.

There's no better time to mark that weekend down in your diary if you ask us.
