American pop icon Janet Jackson will release her own Number Ones greatest hits double album (titled the same as the late American pop star Michael Jackson's recent internationally chart-topping CD) on November 17, according to A&M/Ume Records.

Janet Jackson's album will feature one new song, "Make Me," which débuted in September one day after the singer's tribute performance to her deceased older brother Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Music Awards. (Following his untimely death in June, Michael Jackson's Number Ones became the greatest selling album of 2009.) Outside of America, the 34-track double album will be entitled Janet Jackson: The Best, and hit stores a week later on November 23. Thirty of the 34 songs have reached number one on various Billboard magazine charts. Number Ones marks Jackson's second hits album, following 1995's Design of a Decade 1986/1996.
