Kanye West is doing the Saint Pablo tour from a flying stage

Yeezus has risen

Kanye West fans were a little confused when they turned up to his concert at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis this week and couldn’t find the stage.

Milling around the standing area not really knowing which direction to face, many tweeted about the apparent lack of a stage, fearing some kind of screw up or perhaps a ‘there is no concert’ piece of postmodern art.

As the lights went down though, it slowly became clear that Kanye would be performing on a moving stage hanging from the ceiling above them.

The illuminated platform clearly ties into his whole Yeezus/'I am a god’ complex and looked pretty entertaining (unless you’re standing directly under it, I guess).

A rope secured Kanye to the floating stage, which will follow him on all 40 dates of his US and Canada Saint Pablo tour.

It’s going to be a busy autumn for Kanye, though he found time to write Frank Ocean a poem about McDonald’s last week.
